The victims were laid to rest on Saturday, September 14 after they were killed.
Two men sent to deliver ransom for the release of victims abducted in Guaraka community in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State have been killed by bandits.
It was reported that bandits raided a hotel in the community on August 19, 2024, and abducted all the lodgers in the facility including the owner, his younger brother and his wife, the hotel manager, as well as three other guests.
It was gathered that the victims, Abubakar Sani, popularly known as Nda Abu and Ibrahim Garba Shere, also known as Alhaji Tapki, went to deliver the ransom demanded by the abductors but they collected the money and killed them.
The victims were laid to rest on Saturday, September 14.
The member representing Tafa Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Sani, who attended the burial offered his condolences to the families and the entire community for their loss.
In his tribute, he described the victims as heroes whose memories will not be forgotten easily.
