Dangote Donates N1.5 Billion To Maiduguri Flood Victims

Dangote announced that N1 billion would be donated to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to collaborate with the Borno State government, while the Aliko Dangote Foundation would provide an additional N500 million.

Nigerian industrialist and CEO of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has pledged the sum of N1.5 billion to support victims of the recent flood disaster in Maiduguri, Borno state.

During a visit to affected areas, Dangote announced that N1 billion would be donated to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to collaborate with the Borno State government, while the Aliko Dangote Foundation would provide an additional N500 million.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State also committed to donating relief materials. Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum expressed gratitude for their generosity, praising Dangote’s consistent support for the people of Borno.
