A gigantic tortoise was spotted on the streets of Maiduguri after flood displaced animals from the zoo in Borno State.
A video shared online shows up to five men carrying the hefty tortoise, while locals gathered to catch a glimpse and film with their phones.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that a dam burst due to heavy rainfall and it caused the worst flooding in recent times in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Many animals died in the zoo while others like crocodiles and snakes swam into residential areas.
