Our Office Has Been Occupied By DSS - SERAP Raises Alarm

The office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has been taken over by the Department of State Services, DSS.

According to a post shared on its X handle, SERAP said the officers were asking to see the rights group’s directors.

They urged President Bola Tinubu to immediately direct the Department of State Services (DSS) to end the intimidation and harassment and attack against them and the threat of arrest against its directors.

 “Officers from Nigeria’s State Security Service (SSS) are presently unlawfully occupying SERAP’s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors. President Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation, and attack on the rights of Nigerians.”
