A 29-year-old man, Anuoluwapo Aderemi who was travelling on a commercial bus from Papalanto Motor Park in Ogun State to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has reportedly slumped and died.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday at a filling station in Itori around 7:45 pm.
The command’s spokesperson, Odutola Omolola, confirmed the incident to Punch correspondent on Wednesday and stated that the deceased’s family had been informed.
The bus driver, Akeem Olorode, reported the incident to the Ewekoro Divisional Police Headquarters.
“At around 7:00 pm, the driver stopped at a filling station in Itori to refuel. While filling the tank, other passengers alerted him that one of the passengers was acting strangely and had become unconscious.”

She added, “It was later revealed that the deceased was a resident of Ibadan. He was transported to a state hospital in Ifo, where a doctor on duty confirmed his death.
