Why Having Children In Your 20s Is Important – BBNaija Star, Nina Ivy

Big Brother Naija star, Nina Ivy has shared her desire for early childbirth, revealing that she has always aspired to become a young mother.

She said on Snapchat that she was even open to the idea of using a sperm donor to fulfill her dreams.

Nina expressed her happiness about becoming a mother and her goal of having a daughter before turning 30.

She encouraged her followers to consider having children if they are financially prepared, suggesting they will feel proud of their decision in the future.

Nina emphasised that while opinions vary, she believes that having children early was the right choice for her.

“As long as you have the resources to take care of a child, have that baby, honey. You will be so proud of yourself when the time comes.

“I have always wanted to be a young mum, especially in my 20s. I didn’t even mind getting a sperm donor if that was the only option, I’m so glad I didn’t let fake get in my way. I love being a mum, and I still want to have a daughter before I turn 30. Like I said, everyone’s opinion is different”, she stated.

In another post, Nina reiterated that having children early was her best decision, as she’s already gone through what others might experience at 35.

She highlighted the health benefits of conceiving in one’s 20s, including reduced pregnancy complications and easier post-pregnancy weight loss.

She added: “It’s really not; the best thing I did for myself is having my kids early. Everyone’s reasoning might be different, though. But what you will go through at the age of 35 I have already gone through all of that process before the age of 30.

“Health-wise, your odds of conceiving are increased in your 20s. Getting pregnant during this time also reduces your chances of having a pregnancy complication.

“Also, it’s easier to lose pregnancy weight and regain fitness levels after giving birth at a younger age. So think about it.”
