French football star, Kylian Mbappe's X account, was hacked early on Thursday.

This resulted in a series of controversial tweets that have since been deleted but continue to stir reactions across the platform.

The posts included several insults fired at eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, along with claims that he was set to join Manchester United.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat,”
One of the posts said.

The hackers also took a swipe at Chelsea, a club he has previously been rumoured to support.

In response to an X user suggesting his allegiance to the West London side,  the hackers tweeted, “Chelsea are washed, g.”

Another post read: “Manchester is Red,” before the hacked account later dropped another transfer hint saying: “Yo @ManCity… lool baited I’m going to @ManUTD. 2028 LET’S RUN IT UP ON A FREE TRANSFERRRR.”

Also, Mbappe’s hacked account claimed fan account @UTDTrey “is the best account”, while he described Tottenham as “s***”.

According to The Mirror, the hack is connected to the ‘MBAPPE’ crypto token, with the value of these tokens surging to tens of millions of pounds in a few minutes following the posts, before they subsequently plummeted and returned to a value of zero.

The Real Madrid striker is yet to comment on the hack.
