Atiku Mourns Late Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Danyaya

In a post via his official X handle on Sunday, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the late monarch had a long and impactful reign and was a symbol of pride to his people.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar is mourning the demise of the Emir of Ningi in Bauchi State, Yunusa Danyaya.

It was earlier reported that the monarch, who is said to have returned from a medical trip to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, August 22, died in the early hours of Sunday.

In a post via his official X handle on Sunday, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  said the late monarch had a long and impactful reign and was a symbol of pride to his people.

 He added,  “I commiserate with the Bauchi State government, especially the people of Ningi Emirate, over the demise of its Emir, Alhaji Yunusa Danyaya.

“May the Almighty Allah accept his soul into Al-Jana and relieve the community of the grief of his loss. Amin.”
