Babalola, who was once the editor of Oodua News newspaper, died in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 73.
Mr Olusakin Babalola, a former news editor of the defunct Sketch newspaper, is dead.
Babalola, a native of Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government Area, died in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Babalola, who was once the editor of Oodua News newspaper, died in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 73.
The deceased had worked with some national dailies, such as Newswatch Daily, Leadership newspaper and Legit.com, an online news platform.
The deceased was, until his demise, the publisher of Spheres News Online, based in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
