She asked men to take care of their responsibilities and stop asking women to split the bills with them.

A Nigerian woman, Eze Chinenye has taken to Facebook to advise women based in the UK to be mindful of men expecting them to split bills 50/50.

This is coming after a man, Eze, who is based in the UK, advised women to stay single if they can't afford to marry and take care of the family’s responsibilities.

Reacting, Chinenye urged women to avoid men like Eze, stating that marriage is not a do-or-die affair.

She advised women to support their husbands financially but not on a 50/50 level.

She asked men to take care of their responsibilities and stop asking women to split the bills with them.

She wrote;

 “Bae, listen don't act like this UK Bae, If you want our relationship to work, everything is in your hand, marriage here is 50/50, beside you are a nurse and your salary is bigger than mine. Let's bring head down and make things work out for each other please. Doris think about this. #Copied,” she wrote in a Facebook post.

''My advice, Ladies in United Kingdom, please be careful with this kind of guys. This is their new language now. Marriage is not a do and die stuff. I don't know where they learnt this one from. You can support your husband but not 50/50.

Guys if you don't have money to marry her and take care of your responsibilities, please rest and enjoy yourself alone. Your father did not share bills with your mother 50/50. Beside even if you went to Nigeria to marry, you will not share bills with her 50/50.''
