Abducted Lecturer Regains Freedom After 31 Days In Captivity

Sahabi was abducted at Kasuwar Magani in Chikun Local Government Area of the state along with his brother, Sidi Aliyu Sahabi, and some other persons.

 

Ismail Sahabi, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Zaria, Kaduna State, has regained freedom from kidnappers’ den, 31 days after he was abducted.

Sahabi was abducted at Kasuwar Magani in Chikun Local Government Area of the state along with his brother, Sidi Aliyu Sahabi, and some other persons.

They were abducted while they were farming.

It was gathered that they were released on Friday.

The victims, who spent 31 days in captivity, are residents of Tudun Wada, Zaria.

A family source said the victims are undergoing medical examination to ascertain their health condition.

However, he could not disclose whether ransom was paid for their release.
