Veteran Singer, Dbanj Pays Visit To Governor Sanwo-Olu Ahead Of Album Unveiling (Photos)

The governor’s Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, made this known in a video on X on Thursday.

Oladapo Oyebanjo, the world-famous Nigerian ace singer, who is popularly known as D’Banj, has paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He visited the governor at the State House on Thursday.

The governor’s Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, made this known in a video on X on Thursday.

Gawat’s caption read, “Between Governor #jidesanwoolu and #iamdbanj earlier today.

“Dbanj called Mr. Governor ‘the real Koko Master.”

Dbanj also sared a video from the vist on his social media pages.

He wrote: "Today was good, meeting with Mr. Governor, jidesanwoolu, presenting my upcoming album The Entertainer - D’Sequel.

"It was also an honor to have the Deputy Governor @drobafemihamzat t present as well. Big shoutout to my brother @siphodlam for joining me.

"As I shared the new tracks, I was reminded of how much Lagos has always been at the heart of my music journey, and I’m grateful for the continued support. The Album is almost here, OooooSHeeeeee 💥"


The visit comes ahead of the launch of his new album, “The Entertainer: D’Sequel”, scheduled for release on Friday.

During the visit, D’Banj was said to have presented a commemorative plaque marking the album’s launch to Sanwo-Olu.
