President Tinubu To Commission 'Nigerian Made' CNG Buses In Aso Rock

It is anticipated that President Tinubu, who is presently leading a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), will shortly emerge to officiate the commissioning of the CNG buses.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to inaugurate Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses manufactured by Innoson Motors in Aso Rock.

Innoson Motors is an indigenous automobile manufacturing company located in Nnewi, Anambra State.

The CNG initiative, according to the government, is aimed at alleviating transportation challenges in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Currently, five of these CNG buses are stationed at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, where the inauguration is scheduled to occur.

It is anticipated that President Tinubu, who is presently leading a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), will shortly emerge to officiate the commissioning of the CNG buses.

It is noteworthy that Innocent Chukwuma, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Motors, had a meeting with President Tinubu last week at the State House.
