Didi Esther Walson-Jack has been sworn in as the new Head of Civil Service of the Federation by President Bola Tinubu.
It was gathered that the swearing-in took place prior to the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday at the State House Abuja.
Recall that President Tinubu approved the appointment of Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, on August 14, 2024.
Prior to her appointment, she was the permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.
She was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has served in several ministries.
An earlier statement from the presidency had indicated that Walson-Jack takes over from the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024.
