Femi Bright, the veteran Nigerian actor and movie producer, has opened up on his prolonged battle with a serious health challenge during a conversation with his colleague Kunle Afod.
Bright revealed that he struggled with high cholesterol for years.
Although he has since regained his health through long-term medication, the condition took a significant toll on him, even forcing him to seek financial help.
He recounted a particularly humiliating incident where his health issue surfaced in public.
“Cholesterol is an excess of fat in the body,” Bright explained.
“I couldn’t walk long distances without my vision blurring and eventually collapsing. It took a while for doctors to diagnose it as cholesterol, during which I underwent numerous lab tests.”
“It once embarrassed me on the road one day while going out. Thankfully someone came to my rescue and put me in a cab that took me home.”
