They referred to her as a hypocrite who had no idea about the sufferings of the masses.

Regina Daniels, a popular Nollywood actress and wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, has been dragged online after she took to her Instagram page to advocate for a peaceful protest amid the nationwide protest against bad governance and hunger.

According to Regina Daniels, it is generally known that the masses in the country are suffering and wish for a better way of living, which is the reason behind the nationwide protest.

However, even though there is nothing wrong with protesting, there is everything wrong with violence. The involvement of violence defeats the entire purpose of the protest.

She further pleaded with Nigerians to opt for a peaceful protest to ensure that the voice of the masses would be heard and acted upon.

She captioned her video: β€œA PLEA FOR A PEACEFUL PROTEST πŸ™β€

As she posted the video, many Nigerians slammed her on her page.

They referred to her as a hypocrite who had no idea about the sufferings of the masses. Some went as far as saying that if the economy was good, she wouldn't have gotten married to an older man.
