Nigerian comedian, Shank Comics has reacted to the protest against planned demonstrations over the country's economic hardship.
This is coming after some Nigerians were seen carrying banners, protesting against the planned nationwide protest scheduled for August 1 to 10.
The rally appears to be in opposition to the planned protests aimed at addressing the severe economic difficulties faced by many Nigerians.
In a tweet reacting to the videos which surfaced online, Shank Comics expressed his dismay, stating that some people do not want the country to progress.
He wrote;
"Nahh! This is fuc*ed up. We are watching poverty being weaponized in modern age. That’s why they won’t let the country work. If it works, they lose their hold on us."
