New Minimum Wage: Corps Member Reveals Amount He Was Just Paid as NYSC Allawee

The Nigerian Senate had swiftly passed the N70,000 minimum wage bill, leading many, including Sniper, to believe that they would receive the new allowance amount.

 
A corps member, Izzy Sniper has revealed the amount he got paid as allowance following the passage of the N70,000 minimum wage bill.
 
He wasn't happy after gettting paid N33k by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
 
Posting in an NYSC online community on Facebook, Izzy wrote:

“I just received 33k this morning 😔😔.

“Thought we were supposed to receive 77k we the passing out corpers…Why FG do us like this na😥.”
 
His post quickly garnered attention, with many users expressing their opinions on the situation.
