When the newcomer asked him to help charge his phone, the suspect took the phone and fled the church.
A thief has been seen on CCTV stealing the mobile phone of a newcomer at the RCCG Christ Ambassadors Youth Church on Peter Odili Road, Port Harcourt.
The suspect, seen wearing a pullover sweater in a video, disguised himself as an usher. When the newcomer asked him to help charge his phone, the suspect took the phone and fled the church.
Authorities and the church are now seeking information to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for this crime.
