Nigerian Woman Arrested In UK For Assaulting Fellow Black Over Alleged Affairs With Husband

A woman of Nigerian descent simply identified as Yetunde, has been arrested by the United Kingdom Police.

She was arrested for assaulting a fellow Nigerian woman. 

In a video seen by SaharaReporters, the suspect was captured assaulting another woman who she accused of having affairs with her husband in the UK.

According to the viral video, the parties communicated in Yoruba, exchanging insults and holding each other's clothes.

“She took my husband, and accused me of ‘Ashawo’ (being a harlot). She ruined my relations despite housing her for eight months,” the suspect said in the video.

In a similar story, a Nigerian lawyer, Dele Olawanle in 2023, shared the story of how the UK police arrested a Nigerian woman for falsely accusing her husband of raping and abusing her for over 12 years. 

In a post shared on his X handle, Olawanle who is a UK-based lawyer said the married woman framed her husband after he brought her and their kids to the UK. 

In her bid to secure the right to live freely without her husband's permission, she framed him with the rape allegation. Olawanle said police investigation later revealed that the lady had been receiving text messages from people on how to frame her husband to secure her freedom.
