Nkechi Blessing and other actresses warned bloggers to be cautions in order not to put lives at risk.

 
Nigerian bloggers have been urged to stop spreading fake news about celebrities.
 
Kate Henshaw, Nkechi Blessing, and Empress Njamah showed concerning after fake news circulated that veteran actor Olu Jacobs had died.
 
It turned out that the news was false.
 
Reacting, the actresses took to social media to lambast bloggers who circulated the fake news.
 
“Person never kpai see speed wey una use break d news, if Dem never kee one blogger the rest no go get sense. Who do Nigerians this thing? God forbid!” Nkechi blessing wrote:
 
 
Also reacting, Empress Njamah added:
 
“HEIGHT OF DISRESPECT TO THE FAMILY AND TO A LEGEND..HOW EVIL CAN YOU BE? FEAR GOD OHH,MY HEART WAS PIERCED,JUST FOR CLOUT AND FOLLOWINGS?LETS NOT USE OUR OWN HANDS TO BRING CURSES UPON OURSELVES
Daddy OLU we love you and appreciate you now and always ,this is terrible and heartless ,shame on whoever started this nonsense

MAKE UNA FEAR GOD OHHHH, very toxic social media”.
 
Kate Henshaw also condemned bloggers.
 
She wrote:
 
“HOW YOU PEOPLE PUT UP
RIP POSTS ABOUT SOMEONE WHO IS STILL ALIVE, YEAR IN YEAR OUT IS VERY SICKENING, TBH!!!
You do this to this great man and his family ALL THE TIME!!
It is all shades of wrong!!
Stop for goodness sake!!
UNCLE OLU JACOBS is ALIVE!!!”.
