The alleged robbery took place on Wednesday, June 26, and the suspect was apprehended on Thursday, June 27, at a hideout where the stolen items were recovered.
A suspected burglar, Idris Salawu, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command.
During the arrest, the police recovered stolen goods worth N577,000 from him.
Salawu is suspected of robbing a house in the Liberty Area of Ogijo, located in the Sagamu Area of the state.

The items stolen from the home include a generator, a gas cylinder, a rechargeable fan, an Orl fan, a blender, a Storex tank, two packs of plates, and female jewellery.
While Salawu has been arrested, his accomplices are on the run and efforts are being made to apprehend them.
