Police Arrest Six Armed Robbery 'One-Chance' Suspects, Recovers Exhibits (Photo)

Confirming the arrest, the command's spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said Light weapons such as cutlasses, knives, and a phone believed to have been stolen from a victim were recovered from them.

 

On June 16, 2024, officers from the FCT police command stationed at Utako divisional headquarters apprehended six armed robbery suspects following credible intelligence.

The suspects, identified as Abubakar Adams, Ismail Salisu, Yusuf Bello, Nasiru Saidi, Sani Usman, and Ibrahim Kasa, are known for targeting unsuspecting residents who board their vehicles or tricycles, robbing them of valuables, and then pushing them off while the vehicle is in motion.

The suspects were apprehended on the heels of complaints received from multiple victims of these atrocious acts, some of whom reported losing their mobile phones, money, gadgets, and other belongings to these criminal individuals who have since confessed to the crime.

Confirming the arrest, the command's spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said Light weapons such as cutlasses, knives, and a phone believed to have been stolen from a victim were recovered from them.

‘’While Investigation is still ongoing, the commissioner of police FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh psc, mni, reaffirms the command's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all and sundry.
