Nigerian Music Guru, Femi Esho Is Dead

Esho, also known as Baba Esho or Baba Musician, was a significant figure in the Nigerian music industry.

Chief Femi Esho, the Chairman of Evergreen Musical Company, has passed away at the age of 77.

He died after a brief illness.

The family confirmed his passing on Monday.

He is also the Founder of the Evergreen Music Heritage Foundation.

Until his death, Baba Esho was a mentor to many in the Highlife music scene and played a vital role in preserving and promoting various Nigerian music genres like Highlife, Juju, Sakara, Apala, Afrobeat, and more.

The burial arrangements will be announced by his family soon.
