A Nigerian woman based in the UK has expressed happiness after an Oyinbo lady gifted her £20 for carrying her baby on her back.
The Nigerian lady took to Tiktok to share the video.
In the video, the woman, who had already positioned her camera to record herself, couldn’t contain her joy as she addressed her followers.
She said: “Guys, see, £20! A woman just gave me this money. She just gave it to me because I was carrying my baby on my back.”
“I’m going to the market and just decided to carry him, you know. This boy. So, the oyibo woman saw me and said, ‘That’s beautiful. This is how we did it back then.’ So there are people who still do this.”
“And you know my baby, that one can laugh for Africa. And the next thing, the oyibo woman took this money from her bag and said, ‘My gift for your baby.’ Now, I’m £20 richer. I’m in the market now, let me spend the money quickly.”
