Daniel Radcliffe won the award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role in ‘Merrily We Roll Along.’
However, David Adjmi’s film, ‘Stereophonic’ was the biggest winner at the 2024 Tony Awards, winning five out of its 13 nominations.
Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ ‘Appropriate’ won three awards while Alicia Keys’ ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ managed two from its 10 nominations.
Jack O’Brien and George C. Wolfe received a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.
Abe Jacob, Alex Edelman, and Nikiya Mathis also received a Special Tony Award.
Colleen Jennings-Roggensack, Dramatists Guild Foundation, Judith O. Rubin, The Samuel J. Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts, Wendall K. Harrington, and The Wilma Theater were honoured for Excellence in the Theatre.
