Some members of a ruling house identified as Nyanbilolu Ruling House stormed strategic parts of the town and started burning tires.

A crisis broke out on Sunday morning in the ancient town of Ekosin, located in Osun State's Odo-Otin Local Government Area, reportedly sparked by the imposition of a traditional ruler.

Daily Post reports that some members of a ruling house identified as Nyanbilolu Ruling House stormed strategic parts of the town and started burning tires.

Residents of the community who witnessed the development revealed that they woke up to the protest over the presentation of the staff of office to Kasali Olagunju as the Akosin of Ekosin by the Osun State Government earlier this week.

Recall that on Friday, ruling houses in the town led by the Nyanbilolu Royal Family protested the imposition of Kasali Olagunju as Akosin of Ekosin.

Represented by their spokesperson, Kayode Asa, the ruling houses alleged that political office holders of the Ademola Adeleke administration had nocturnally appointed Olagunju as Akosin.
