Lionel Messi Is Not Coachable – Mourinho Names Player He Regrets Not Signing

Jose Mourinho, the Fenerbahce manager, has talked about the player he would have liked to sign as a manager.

Mourinho, answering quickfire questions on TNT Sports, admitted he would have loved to sign Lionel Messi.

But he deemed that the “little guy” was uncoachable as he was the best in the generation.

Mourinho said: “One player that I never signed but wished I had? In my generation, of course, I would say the little guy [Messi].

“The little guy was not coachable but I have to say, in our generation, he was the best.”
