Comrade Festus Osifo, President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria confirmed the meeting on Monday.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SFG, George Akume has called a meeting between organised labour and his office.
He called for an emergency meeting following the ongoing indefinite nationwide strike.

According to him, labour leaders comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and TUC were heading to the SGF office for the meeting.
“Yes, we are heading there now,” Osifo said.
