The former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, in a post on his X handle on Saturday said he will honour it unless the court nullifies the law, advising that everyone should as well honour it.

Sam Amadi, the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has given a reason he will sing the new National Anthem.

Amadi explained that the new National Anthem has become a law.

The former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, in a post on his X handle on Saturday said he will honour it unless the court nullifies the law, advising that everyone should as well honour it.

He said: “I will sing the new (old) National Anthem. It’s now the law.

“I deplore the logic of bringing it back now and the manner it was brought back.

“But unless the court nullifies the law, I will honour it. And everyone should honour it.”
