The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has verified the arrest of 40 individuals suspected of engaging in fraudulent activities in Abuja.

The statement mentioned that 18 of the suspected fraudsters were arrested at Dawaki axis, the remaining 12 were arrested at other locations in the capital city.
Their arrest followed credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet activities.
Items seized from the suspects include 23 phones, 4 laptops and 4 vehicles.
EFCC said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations of their alleged involvement in internent fraud are concluded.
