A tenant has taken to social media to lament after her landlady increased house rent from N800K to N1M.
She stated that the increment was as a result of the current price of bag of rice in the market.

She could be heard complaining as she revealed that she used to pay N800K when overnight, her landlady told her that the rent had increased to N1M.
The tenant stated that she had tried to be reasonable with the woman and beg her to have patience with them since the country isn’t particularly favorable to everyone at the moment.
However, the landlady who was videoing her asked her whether she knew how much bag of rice is in the market.
Enraged, she told the tenant that if she cannot pay the stated sum, she should pack out of her house.
