The Prosecutor, Inspector Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 13, at about 4 p.m., at Orita-Aperin, Ibadan.
Yesterday, the police brought Abdulateef Giwa, 24, to court for purportedly possessing a locally made pistol.
Giwa pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 13, at about 4 p.m., at Orita-Aperin, Ibadan.
Adegbite said the offence was contrary to Section 417(d) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwabusayo Osho, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.
Osho, thereafter, adjourned the case till May 22 for hearing.
