In a video posted online by the spokesperson of the command, SP Edafe Bright, the suspect said he mixes ethanol, water and flavour into the bottles of popular alcoholic drinks and then sells them to unsuspecting consumers.
The Delta State Police Command has apprehended an individual posing as a producer of alcoholic beverages.

Edafe who shared the video on his X handle, wrote: ‘’ATTENTION NIGERIANS
"Especially those who patronize spirits such as Gordon's, Chelsea, and likes. This suspect, Chinemem Adigwe, was arrested in Bomadi LGA.
"He mixes ethanol, water, and flavour, then buys empty bottles of Gordon's, Chelsea, and even mc dowel, puts his fake drinks inside, and then sells them to consumers as if it's the real drinks he is selling.
"Pls, let's be mindful of the people and places we buy drinks from. Listen to how he does it pls''
