Ondo Traditional Ruler, Olojoda Dies A Month To His First Anniversary

His death was confirmed by a family friend, Chief Prince Ade Adelakun.

Oba Julius Ajayi Adewumi Omomo, the Olojoda of Oda, in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, is dead.

The 83-year-old was installed in May last year, following the demise of the previous traditional ruler, after a brief illness.

His death was confirmed by a family friend, Chief Prince Ade Adelakun.

Adelakun described the deceased monarch as a humble, decent, and down-to-earth monarch.

According to him, “the late monarch cared for his subjects as well as the unity and progress of the state.

He also described the deceased monarch’s years of reign as remarkably eventful.
