A designer, Sheriff Alabi was allegedly stabbed to death last Saturday, March 30, during a fight that broke out at a tailoring graduation party at Aga-Olowo in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.
The Ogun State Police Command has launched a probe to unravel the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident.
Eyewitnesses say three persons at the party were involved in a serious argument that degenerated into a fight. Efforts by others present at the party to settle their issue failed. It was said that during the fight, the deceased was stabbed with a broken plate.
While confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, SP Omolola Odutola, said the matter was immediately reported to the police and all the suspects involved in the incident have been arrested.
