A photo of a man, Salisu Iliyasu Takakume, who was among the victims rescued in Sokoto State after spending 96 days in bandits custody has surfaced online.

The rescued victim looks frail after his ordeal in the hands of the bandits.

The victims were abducted in Takakume village, Goronyo Local Government Area of the state.

Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, who disclosed this on Monday, March 25, 2024, said Takakume, is unable to walk due to extreme hardship in the bandits' enclave.
