A Super Mushak trainer aircraft owned by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been involved in an aviation incident.
The incident SaharaReporters gathered happened on Thursday at about 2.35pm.
The NAF Director Public Relations and Information, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday evening.
Gabkwet said the accident, which occurred at about 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military airfield, involved 2 pilots who were returning from a routine training flight.
Although both pilots came out of the crash unscathed, he said that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has directed for preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash.
