Jasmine Okekeagwu, a Nigerian content creator who is also the adopted daughter of the renowned comic actor Mr Ibu, has shared her experience of discovering that her estranged husband was 51 years old.
Recall that Jasmine announced divorce from her UK-based husband in November 2022, explaining that he had lied to her about his previous marriage and kids.
Speaking during her latest interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Jasmine said she discovered that her ex lied to be 38 years old on their wedding day.
“I was with my ex-husband for nine months and I did not get pregnant. Now this is where the story got very tricky. This man told me he had never married and he had never gotten a lady pregnant before in his life.
“He told me he was 38 years old but I found out my husband was 51 on our wedding day. Imagine finding out such a thing on a wedding day.
“Many people had different experiences with him. He promised about five girls marriages. And when I was going through my husband’s phone I started seeing a lot of girls, most of which are Yoruba, and big big TikTokers,” she added.
