Jaywon concluded by saying it takes nothing from any artist to give credit their predecessors that existed before them.
Popular Nigerian singer, Jaywon has opined that it makes no sense for Grammy-winning artiste, Burna Boy to say that no one paved the way for him in the music industry.
During an interview, Jaywon stated that Burna Boy’s claim that no one led the way for him in the industry is absurd and completely incorrect.
The singer claimed that the African Giant was merely implying that no one has ever given him inspiration, from his early years to the present.
According to Jaywon, the notion that there is a difference between being inspired by someone or having someone pave the way for them is untrue.
He wondered where the up-and-coming artists learn from if someone doesn’t do it first.
He recalled when Burna Boy received a 30BG chain from Afrobeats star, Davido, describing it as a significant contribution to his career.
