Kanu has been in DSS detention since June 2021 when he was repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu has arrived the courtroom of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday.
He was brought in by operatives of the Department of State Services at about 10:05 am on Monday as his trial resumes
Afterwards he met with religious and traditional rulers who prayed for him.
His terrorism trial has now commenced.
Kanu has been in DSS detention since June 2021 when he was repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria.
