The Twitter user, known as Baddy of Lassu, admitted to forging a tweet that appeared to be written by Peruzzi.
Nigerian singer Davido has openly reacted after a Twitter user doctored a Twitter post of his former label signee, Peruzzi.
The singer applauded Peruzzi for taking legal action against the Twitter user for fabricating a tweet accusing Peruzzi of sleeping with Davido’s wife, Chioma.
The Twitter user, known as Baddy of Lassu had apologized after admitting to doctor the tweet.
In the fabricated tweet, Peruzzi allegedly called Davido ungrateful and claimed he was upset because he had slept with Chioma.
Baddy of Lassu apologized and took full responsibility for his actions, promising it wouldn’t happen again.
“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involves Peruzzi and Davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions and I promise it will never happen again. My apologies to DMW management.” he wrote.
Reacting to this, Davido expressed strong disapproval of the fabricated tweet.
He tweeted, “Throw away the keys”
