The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reported that its Kaduna Zonal Command operatives have arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters.
In a statement by the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale on Sunday, the suspects were arrested on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Mpape in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja and Keffi, Nasarawa State.
Oyewale said the suspects, comprising 38 males and two females, were arrested following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
He maintained that items recovered from them include two cars, 56 phones, four smart watches, eight power banks and four laptops.
