Herbert Wigwe died at the age of 58. He was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, on August 15, 1966.
Former Senator Shehu Sani expressed sorrow and described the passing of Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Holdings Plc, as tragic and saddening.
Sani disclosed this in a statement through his official X handle on Saturday.
“The news of the death of Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe and five others in a helicopter crash is tragic, sad and heartbreaking. A great loss. May their souls rest in peace,” he stated.
Recall that Wigwe, his wife and son, and others, died in a helicopter crash in California, United States.
