Police Arrests Four Suspected Kidnappers In Adamawa

Nguroje said the suspects were arrested after they organized and kidnapped two in the House of Alhaji Shehu Ali of Tudun Wada, Michika Local Government.

Four suspects, Abubakar Abdullahi, 39, Ibrahim Garba, 35, Isa Ahmadu 30 and Bulama Ahmadu, 20, have been arrested by the Adamawa police command in collaboration with the military.

They were arrested on February 8, in connection with the alleged abduction of Aminu Alhaji Shehu and Ali Alhaji Shehu of Tudun Wada, Michika Local Government Area in the state.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, gave the names of the suspects as Abubakar Abdullahi 39 year-old a resident of Mubi South Local Government, Ibrahim Garba  35years, a resident of Askira Uba local government, Borno State, Isa Ahmadu 30years a resident of Dawarsa, Yobe State and Bulama Ahmadu, 20 years a resident of Dawarsa, Yobe State.

Nguroje said the suspects were arrested after they organized and kidnapped two in the House of Alhaji Shehu Ali of Tudun Wada, Michika Local Government.

The police spokesperson added that another Coordinated crime-fighting strategy was carried out in collaboration with Hunters at Gamu Hill and that the process yielded another success as one amongst the syndicate of Kidnappers that had been terrorizing Jada, Ganye and villages around them was neutralized and One AK-47 rifle recovered.

He mentioned that the Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG Afolabi Babatola While expressing Happiness, Commended the Operational Commanders and urged for the synergy to be sustained.
