AFCON: Shettima to Cheer Super Eagles Again Against Cote d’Ivoire in Final

Shettima jetted into Cote d’Ivoire on the eve of the team’s semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

 
Nigeria’s vice-president, Kashim Shettima will attend the final of the 2023 AFCON.
 
He will be in the country to support the Super Eagles as they take on the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
 
Shettima jetted into Cote d’Ivoire on the eve of the team’s semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
 
The country’s number two citizen watched the game live at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.
 
The former senator celebrated with the players and their officials in the dressing room after the game.
 
According to SCORENigeria, Shettima will head a powerful Presidential delegation for Sunday’s decider slated for the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan.
 
He is expected to be accompanied by a number of top government officials.
