Ekiti Kidnap: No Hope For Victims As Community Raises N450k Of N100m Ransom

Sources in Eporo-Ekiti revealed that the community and families of the victims were only able to raise a paltry sum of N450,000, a far cry from the N100m ransom being demanded by the kidnappers.

Efforts by the Eporo-Ekiti community to meet the kidnappers' demand of N100 million ransom for the release of the kidnapped victims from Emure-Ekiti seemed to have encountered difficulties as of late yesterday evening.

Sources in Eporo-Ekiti revealed that the community and families of the victims were only able to raise a paltry sum of N450,000, a far cry from the N100m ransom being demanded by the kidnappers.

Vanguard reports that seven of the ten kidnapped victims, which included six school pupils, two teachers, bus driver and his conductor were from Eporo-Ekti community in Emure Ekiti Local government Area of Ekiti State.
