She warned that her marriage is not for the consumption of the public while daring them to ask her about it offline and see her reaction.

Aisha Habibu, the second wife of Bello El-Rufai, son of the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has lambasted Arewa brothers and sisters enquiring about her marriage.

Aisha, an entrepreneur who manages multiple personal businesses, is the daughter of the former Military Administrator for Plateau and Niger states, Colonel Habibu Shuaibu while Bello is a House of Representatives member-elect representing Kaduna North.

The couple tied the knot in Abuja in 2023.

It all began after an Instagram user, Zainab commented on her post, questioning why she's hardly seen with her husband in public or posts him on social media.

She warned that her marriage is not for the consumption of the public while daring them to ask her about it offline and see her reaction.

Sharing screenshots of the comments, Aisha wrote:  “Have we dropped this low as a society? I will pray for my Arewa brothers and sisters every day to get a life. May gossip and scandal not consume you,”

“It seems my husband's publicity has deceived you into thinking I owe you something or that I tolerate this level of intrusion and disrespect. This is clearly a burner account so I will save myself the energy of finding out who you are but please find me in public and teach me how to “publicly love” to my face. I dare you,”

“Also PSA for anyone looking to be a scapegoat. I make no empty threats. With me, you will only deal with me. In person, not online. Please, let sleeping dogs lie," she added.
