Police to Go After Nigerian LGBTQ Members Openly Revealing Their Sexuality in Trending TikTok Video Challenge

Adejobi pointed that the LGBTQ members are “criminals” and that the police is on the case to take necessary actions.

 
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has labeled members of the LGBTQ community in Nigeria who partook in a viral tiktok video challenge as criminals.
 
Recall that LGBTQ members, openly revealed their sexuality in the video. 
 
The video received mixed reactions with some Nigerians asking if the anti-gay law signed by former President Goodluck Jonathan in January 2007 is no longer effective.
 
This morning, an X user drew Adejobi's attention to the video and asked if the police will not act on it. Responding, Adejobi pointed that the LGBTQ members are “criminals” and that the police is on the case to take necessary actions.
