How Suspect Drugged And Beheaded Nigerian Lady Inside Hotel In Adamawa – Police

The police further stated that the handset which belonged to the deceased and the drug used to sedate the lady were recovered from the crime scene.

The Adamawa State Police Command has reported the arrest of several suspects in connection with the beheading of a young lady in a hotel in Yola, the state capital.

Also arrested were three employees of the hotel, identified as Jacob, and Yifarta, who are receptionists, and Isah, a security guard, who were on duty at the time of the incident at the hotel.

The police further stated that the handset which belonged to the deceased and the drug used to sedate the lady were recovered from the crime scene.

City Round gathered that the main suspect had on January 18, 2024, at around 9:30 pm, taken his victim to a hotel where he was lodged as a guest, beheaded her, and went away with her decapitated head.

Confirming the arrest to journalists on Friday, the spokesman of the command, Suleiman Nguroje, said, “The command has so far apprehended three staff (members) of the hotel and recovered drug and handset of the lady. The drug and handset were recovered at the scene of the crime.”

He also assured the public of the determination of the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, to arrest the perpetrator of the heinous crime.

However, The PUNCH correspondent gathered that two persons, believed to be behind the gruesome murder, whose identity had yet to be made known by the police, had been nabbed.
